Bankruptcy sounds like it might be beneficial, so what now?

    First...

The first thing you need to do is schedule a consultation so we can discuss your matter, address all your questions, and determine what your options are. Please go to the Contact page to schedule your consultation, or call 800.966.5215 now.

    Second...

If you decide that bankruptcy is right for you and you want to move forward, the next step is to retain me to represent you.

    Third...

Once I am retained, you can inform any creditors who are harassing you that you have an attorney and provide them with my contact information. They will usually stop bothering you at that point and will instead call me for information.

Additionally,  I will give you a packet of instructions and homework to do, which is essentially gathering various information and documents that I will need in order to prepare your case.

Once you return all the necessary information to me, I will then prepare all the documents for your case. We will then review, discuss and revise the documents as needed. We will also spend considerable time planning and preparing your exemptions, filing date, and other crucial decision-making activity.

    Finally...

Once we have aligned all the stars properly (and believe me, there are many), your case will be filed, which means you'll be officially on your way to receiving financial relief! Please see the Bankruptcy Process page to find out what happens after that.
